Need help with EatChowdy? Email contact@frothlabs.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. A few things you can sort out yourself:

Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are managed in your Apple Account settings: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. That is where you change plan, turn off auto-renew, or cancel.

Refunds for App Store purchases are also handled by Apple — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue them on Apple’s behalf.

If you paid and the app doesn’t show it, open the Profile tab and tap Restore Purchases first — that usually fixes it. If it doesn’t, email us.

Deleting your account

Open the Profile tab and choose Delete Account. This removes your account and personal data from our systems — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that covers.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel that separately in your Apple Account settings, above.

Getting a copy of your data

Profile tab → Export my recipes gives you your saved recipes and meal plans, including your notes and ratings, as a text file you can share or keep.

For a copy of everything we hold about you — the above plus your profile, grocery lists, store preferences, and your Chef conversations and the preferences Chef has learned — email privacy@eatchowdy.com and we will send it to you.

Reporting a bug

Email contact@frothlabs.com. It helps a lot if you include:

• What you were doing, and what happened instead.
• The screen it happened on.
• Your iPhone model and iOS version.
• A screenshot, if there was anything to see.

Something Chef got wrong

Chef’s suggestions can be wrong — a bad substitution, a wrong quantity, a recipe that ignores a restriction you set. Tell us what it said and what it should have said; those reports are the most useful thing we get.

Chowdy is a meal planning tool, not a source of medical or nutritional advice. Always check ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs before cooking or buying.
